Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 18.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Bratton Fleming Primary School are seeking to recruit with effect from November 2024, a playworker for our Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club. This post may be split between two candidates if desired.

We are looking for someone with a strong, sensitive and caring approach to children’s needs, who can provide a caring, secure environment and deliver high quality provision through individual attention and group activities, and to organise an appropriate range of leisure activities for children.

Ideally, you will:

  • Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
  • Have high expectations of children’s behaviour and be able to maintain consistent boundaries
  • Be willing to work as part of a team
  • Be able to use your own initiative when required.

The post of playworker will be working for Afterschool Club, 2hrs 15min per day, from 3.15pm to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and Breakfast Club 1hr 30min per day Monday to Friday a total of 18.75 hrs per week over 38 weeks per year.
